An Indian vivisection with R Ashwin and Himanish Ganjoo
Assembling the cricket's nerd avengers.
The other day, I was invited onto R Ashwin’s video to chat with him and former Indian analyst Himanish Ganjoo about the Indian team right now. It was as if all of cricket nerdery was poured into one glass. The Travelling Wilburys of cricket analysis.
The idea was to look beyond the Gautam Gambhir of it, to see what the main issues India has been struggling with.
We looked at this recent series, but really, it was about how Indian cricket has changed. The unintended consequences of them getting better against seam bowling.
In the video, we talk about sweeps, turning the ball more than 3.5 degrees, how spinners develop, dip, hard hands, sweeps, Ranji Trophy changes and much more.
If you like your cricket chat thorough (which I assume you do) this is the best place to get it.
Enjoy.
