Dawid Malan could play for a lot of teams

This is what I have been thinking a lot about. I am not sure how many of those teams he makes massively better, but there is a place for a guy with his skills in international cricket. An anchor who can speed up while making consistent scores. So he can at once be good enough to be an international cricketer and not that helpful to England. Those two things are possible. 

Malan has become an actual test of how people follow T20 cricket. Watching so many people believe he stuck it up his detractors in the last game, it was really clear who just doesn’t quite get T20 yet. Let me make this simple. The runs per over in that game were 10.3, India scored at 11.2 and Malan scored at 8.82. Meaning the rest of the team needed to score at far more than two runs a ball to win. I actually thought after a very slow early start, he played really well, before getting stuck. But you can’t allow yourself to get bogged down when you are a set batter in T20.
