I certainly do not think batting first was wrong. Nasser Hussain's ghost or not is secondary. The fact is if only Burns and Hameed had done what they are capable of, blocking their respective ends though without scoring, things would have been much better for England. If they had played the first session without losing any wicket but for say 40-45 runs, by the end of the day, it would have been England who would have been smiling. I do not think England have the attack to make use of the early morning conditions.
