Great article. I really miss West Indies and Pakistan having very strong sides.

Other teams play professional serious cricket, pakistan plays for laugh and giggles. Naqvi seems like a moderator for r/cricketshitpost

When jingoism trumps the game, this is what happens. They'd a generational talent in Babar Azam who they muffled with captaincy. They can't get their pacers to be fit anymore. Last wuality spinner they had was Yasir Shah, who was discarded like dust. They mishandled a player like Fawad Alam for years. They forgot players like Asim Kamal and Sohaib Maqsood.

I see Jason Gillespie says that when he was coach the team was split into two camps. I also see it mentioned that there's a conflict between Babar and Rizwan. So it seems that - maybe for external political reasons? - Pakistan feel they can't put their best players on the same pitch. Maybe Ali Usman is a Rizwan fan? As to why a bunch of experienced batters who've played county cricket can't concentrate long enough to make 50, gawd knows...

I think there ARE real talents in Pakistan cricket . But they are not given adequate continuous opportunities to establish themselves at International level . Their board is shambolic in every sense . AND BY THE WAY I AM AN INDIAN 🇮🇳
